Derby Art Gallery, & Museum of Making, April 2023

Well, what a wedding of difference this one was!! It all started at Derby Art Gallery, for the wedding ceremony where I met up with Kristian and his best man who were in great form and not a hint of nerves on show!! Kristian was excited but relaxed as he met his guests at this fantastic venue to hold a wedding.

Orianne arrived with her bridal party and they made their way through the museum to join Kristian, surrounded by artefacts for their ceremony.

Their unique wedding didn’t stop there. The ceremony was followed by a stroll though the city centre and onto the Museum of Making to celebrate their special day. There, they were greeted by a brass band who played a selection of welcoming music as the happy couple mingled with their guests during a drinks reception.

They had a stunning wedding breakfast room laid out which was part of the Museum Of Making, so this was definitely the place to grab some portrait photography.

What a unique and personal wedding they had planned, and a place many should visit, and maybe also have a wedding!!

I wish you both all the best.

Enjoy the blog
